the Edison

the Edison

Designed around the rich history of the buildings past, the Edison is a combination of science and style. Everywhere you look there are elements retained from the power plants beginnings in 1910. It is a feast for the eyes.

The entrance is much like a speakeasy, low profile and inconspicuous. But once inside, you will get a glimpse of what things were like in the 1920s. It is furnished with restored furniture, light bubs and other steampunk like artifacts. Dinner is served, but the main attraction is the house cocktails and the dancing girls. So take it all in, and leave yourself plenty of time to get through the entire facility, there's lots to see and experience!

The Secretariat: This is a fantastic cocktail. It combines Buffalo Trace Kentucky Bourbon, Whiskey, Pistachio Honey, Martini Rossi Sweet Vermouth, Walnut Liquor with dashes of Angostura and Lavender bitters. I recommend this little number with their Bacon-Maple Beer nuts.
Some of the fun and interesting touches at the Edison: the gentlemen's bathroom walls are plastered with architectural plans form back in the day.
Dancing girls take the stage and dominate the scene twice a night.
