Conn Creek Winery: Cabernet Sauvignon 2008

Conn Creek Winery: Cabernet Sauvignon 2008

To create their vintages, Conn Creek procures grapes from several sub-appellations of Napa Valley, giving their winemaker the flexibility and ability to create wines with great complexity and flavor.

The nose brought raspberry, jammy-sweetness, moist earth, citrus and eucalyptus. The palate was rich and delicious with raspberry, blackberry, strawberry, plum and cocoa. The finish was medium in length with plum and vanilla. This wine had good tannin with strong acid that gracefully balanced the well structured and sumptuous layers of fruit elements. Cheers!
