Gekkeikan: Nigori Junmai Sake

Gekkeikan: Nigori Junmai Sake

For this Junmai Sake, Gekkeikan uses premium rice and underground water along with light filtering to produce this fine sake that features a sweet sensation.

In this review, I tasted this sake at a temperature of 45˚F. The nose was light with rice grain and jasmine aromas. The palate brought creamy coconut, rice grain, jasmine, and tart dandelion, almost like biting on a green grapevine with a light dry finish. This sake would be well paired with chilled sweet shrimp! Cheers!
