Vine Cliff Winery: Cabernet Sauvignon 2007

Vine Cliff Winery: Cabernet Sauvignon 2007

For the past 20 years, all of Vine Cliff's vineyards have been managed with sustainable viticulture practices, with a renewed emphasis on natural farming. This attention to details and the environment have yielded some of the finest Cabernet Sauvignons available.

The nose was rich with jammy raspberry, molasses and cherry. The palate brought sweet elements of cherry, blackberry, strawberry and molasses. Also present was a good balancing element of dry cocoa. All these flavors were underlined with a smokey oak from start to mid palate. The finish was dry from strong tannin with vanilla and cherry. This is a BIG wine, full of major flavor, tannin and acid, all combining for a wine experience worth the asking price. Cheers!
