Guinness Black Lager

Guinness Black Lager

Born from it's stout mother, Guinness Draught, this black lager acts like a lager but still retains the palate of traditional Guinness goodness.

The pour reveals much more carbonation than Guinness Draught, as it would being a lager. One whiff and subtle grain, grass and nuts are detected. The flavors go: roasted oats, malts, sweet caramel and soda cracker. This is an interesting beer. If you like the flavors of Guinness Draught, but prefer more carbonation, this is for you. Overall, the combination of sweet caramel and slightly bitter soda cracker elements play off of each other well. Serve this beverage at a temperature of 48˚F. Cheers!
