Blason de Burgogne: Pinot Noir 2009

Blason de Burgogne: Pinot Noir 2009

This offering from the Bourgogne region of France is a prefect example of a simple, well crafted wine, utilizing the single Pinot Noir varietal.

The nose was not timid, bringing strawberry, moist earth and eucalyptus. The palate was strawberry, bing cherry and a nice cognac element. This medium-bodied wine finished with simply cherry. This is a very simple wine with solid structure that would pair well with a cheese pizza and other mild dishes. Cheers!
