Vina Robles: Cabernet Sauvignon 2007

Show Picture 1Show Picture 2Show Picture 3

This Swiss family owned vineyard stresses the quality of varietal that Paso Robles is know for, letting the Cabernet Sauvignon grapes express their character.

The nose was rich and tantalizing with cherry, raspberry and mocha. The palate brought cherry, raspberry, vanilla, green pepper, oak and mocha. The fruit forwardness is nicely balanced by the slightly bitter green pepper and the bitter-sweet mocha. The finish was blueberry and vanilla. This Cab delivers strong acids and good tannin for good pucker mouth feel. Cheers!
