San Antonio Winery: Tres Pinos White Blend 2009

San Antonio Winery: Tres Pinos White Blend 2009

Why not have the best of both white wine worlds in the same bottle. Blending Sauvignon Blanc, Gewürztraminer, Chardonnay and Viognier, this offering does that with buttery oak and flowery citrus palate elements that finds a nice balance.

The nose just whispers oh so lightly with green apple. The palate started subtle apple and pineapple. Then it flowed into a soft yet rich oak and butter middle. The palate finished with a lovely, sweet flowery rose element. Thought this blend does have some oak and butter notes, it is quite a subtle yet delicious offering. It would be best to enjoy this wine by itself or with very light cheeses, fish and salads. Cheers!
