Europe's commitment to quality, green wines, has another example of affordable, organically grown Temperanillo to add to its list: the Albero, Tempranillo Barrica.
The nose was full with floral rose, strawberry, wet wood and earthy wet grass. The palate yielded tangy cherry, strawberry, coca, anise and tart dandelion. The finish was long with cherry and dandelion. This is a light bodied wine with good tannin and acid. The structure was fairly good considering the amount of palate elements and for the asking price. Cheers!
