This offering by Raymond Vineyard & Cellar reflects their tradition of making well balanced Cabernet Sauvignon wines.
The nose was cocoa, raspberry, cherry, musty earth and oak. The palate starts tart cherry, musty earth like eggs, raspberry, oak, vanilla and plum. Don't be put off by the egg description - it is a fantastic element that balances the fruit ones. The finish was black cherry, raspberry and vanilla. Overall this wine offers a smooth mouth feel with strong tannin that balances the palate seemingly effortlessly. Cheers!
