Widmer Brothers Brewing Company: Nelson Imperial IPA

This is a IPA pumped up to the maximum: strong flavor, finish and alcohol. It's a deliciously robust beer that should be tried at least once.

Pours with a nice warm light amber color and off white heading to tan head. The nose hints of mango, papaya, and earthy wet grass. The palate tears out of the gate with lime, ginger, mango and subtle caramel apple off the end. This beer is fantastic if you want lots of flavor. The overall feel is of tropical fruits with a balancing hoppyness that brings the experience home with smooth drinkability. Serve this beverage at a temperature of 50˚- 55˚F. Cheers!
