Chapillon Priorat Rêves: Blend 2006

This offering is a blend of 40% Carignan, 35% Garnacha, and 25% Syrah. This combination yields a lovely grounded palate that finishes warm and satisfyingly.

The nose was black cherry, raspberry, green pepper, lemon and mineral-chalk. The elements of green pepper and mineral were nice balancers to the ripe fruity palate. This blend had a very smooth, light mouth feel with good tannin. The delightful finish brought a warmth like cognac with a cherry flavor. Cheers!
