Edna Valley Vineyard: Islay Peak Pinot Noir 2007

Edna Valley Vineyard: Islay Peak Pinot Noir 2007

San Luis Obispo's climate is influenced by their valleys that bring in cool ocean breezes, enabling Piont Noir grapes to flourish and mature well.

The nose was creamy black cherry and vanilla. The palate was complex and well structured with black cherry, spicy lemon, strawberry, jammy raspberry and subtle oak. The finish was cherry and vanilla. As the bottle opened, the nose remained the same with the addition of currant. The palate became smoother with a finish that was long and delicious. Cheers!
