Cocobon Cellars: Red Blend 2009

Cocobon Cellars: Red Blend 2009

Cocobon Cellars creates a delicious wine with a blend of varietals that yields a fruit forward experience.

The nose was blooming with cherry and eucalyptus with a hint of vanilla. The palate, very fruit forward, brought cotton candy, cherry, blueberry, vanilla, strawberry and mild cedar. The finish was vanilla and strawberry. Balancing out this fruit forward palate were good tannin and acids. This is a fairly bold wine. This selection reminded me of a port wine to some degree. It's a good change of pace for those who normally drink dry wines. Cheers!

How could you possibly go wrong with portobello mushrooms, pesto, and mozarella cheese?  Very rich and flavorful.

Marinated Pork Tenderloin
Marinated Pork Tenderloin
Like Filet mignon, this is a tender item. With marination and slow cooking, you'll find yourself cutting into the tenderloin and thinking it was butter. Delicious. And on top of that, you'll see it is one of the the leanest meats around. Enjoy!
