Dry Creek Vineyard: Heritage Zinfandel 2008

Dry Creek Vineyard: Heritage Zinfandel 2008

The 2008 Heritage Zinfandel is another good example of Dry Creek Vineyards ability to create balanced wines that give a delicious palate while not forgetting tannin qualities.

The full nose was blackberry, raspberry and vanilla. The palate was blackberry, raspberry, cherry, chocolate and plum. The finish gave a delightful spice-tangerine note alongside vanilla and plum. As the bottle opened, the nose revealed a new eucalyptus note. And the palate remains the same with a bigger tannin feel that helps balance the wines overall feel and structure. Cheers!
