Louis Vergé Morgon Les Pierres Fines 2007

Louis Vergé Morgon Les Pierres Fines 2007

Thought this is from the famous Morgon Appellation of France, this offering is a "table wine", and if you go into this one with high expectations, you will be disappointed. That being said, this Beaujolais is a fair representative of light, refreshing wine experience.

The nose was pleasant with currant, citrus and blackberry notes. The palate was tangy-tangerine spice, lemon, cherry and currant. This is a light-bodied wine that was unfortunately very lean - hight acids with a palate that was both light and lacking well defined flavors. The best way to enjoy this wine is with a food pairing, something light, like a green salad.
