Bogle Vineyards: Chardonnay 2009

Bogle Vineyards: Chardonnay 2009

Bogle winemakers have again hand-crafted a perfectly balanced, easy to drink Chardonnay that contains many flavors expressed throughout the palate.

The nose was citrusy with lemon, oak, and buttery bread. The front palate was delightful with papaya and mango. Mid palate brought pear-apple cinnamonn spice, with butter and oak rounding out the palate. The finish was good and long with apple and vanilla notes. This isn't a refreshing Chardonnay, and it's not meant to be. This medium-bodied offering should be paired with rich, buttery sauces and tasty seafoods to appreciate it's full potential. Cheers!
