Emergence: White Blend 2009

Emergence: White Blend 2009

The Emergence blend of Grenache Blanc, Marsanne, Viognier and Roussannne grapes creates a medium-bodied wine with a delightful contrasting sweet-bitter palate.

The bouquet of this wine was of guava, lime and cantaloupe. The palate was bold with tart and dry characteristics. It started with guava, grapefruit on the front palate, and ended with a nutmeg-spice, lime, walnut and mineral. This was a very interesting juxtaposition. The finish, medium in length, was grapefruit and bitter almond. After the bottle opened, the palate moved to guava, green apple, grapefruit, lime, walnut and nutmeg-spice. If you are one who enjoys white wines, this bottle is worth a try for it's distinctive character offered. Cheers!
