Archro: Nero d'Avola 2007

Archro: Nero d'Avola 2007

This Nero d'Avola is a pleasing combination of smooth tannins and sweet, soft fruits.

The nose was simple and right to the point with raspberry and spice notes. The palate brought blackberry, raspberry and plum all wrapped into a smooth tannin delivery. The finish was of blackberry jam and molasses. Delicious! The overall impression is a wine that is very sweet, smooth and fruit forward. This is one to discover for those who might shy away from such an inexpensive bottle. Cheers!

How could you possibly go wrong with portobello mushrooms, pesto, and mozarella cheese?  Very rich and flavorful.

Marinated Pork Tenderloin
Marinated Pork Tenderloin
Like Filet mignon, this is a tender item. With marination and slow cooking, you'll find yourself cutting into the tenderloin and thinking it was butter. Delicious. And on top of that, you'll see it is one of the the leanest meats around. Enjoy!
