Lane Tanner Winery: Pinot Noir 2008

Lane Tanner Winery: Pinot Noir 2008

Lane Tanner makes her vineyard-designate Pinot Noirs at a local wine co-op. This can be a tricky, but she has a skill for choosing great fruit, and the results show.

The nose was full of raspberry, peach and cherry. On the palate, raspberry, tangy peach, strawberry, cherry, and mocha come in waves of flavor. The finish is long and delicious with a tangy cherry note. This is a medium-bodied wine with strong acids and a generally tart and dry palate accented with ripe fruits. Cheers!
