Markham Vineyards: Chardonnay 2008

Markham Vineyards: Chardonnay 2008

Markham vineyards crafts their Chardonnay with layers of flavor that pair naturally and well with food. This offering does just that with good palate variety that isn't overpowering.

Light and pleasing aromas of apple, honeydew and lemon rose from the first swirls of the glass. The palate was spice-apple, guava, honeydew and lemon. The overall impression is definitely a great balance of the apple and melon in tandem flowing in this medium-bodied wine. The finish is another surprise, as the flavors smoothly flow to nutmeg and apple pie. Cheers!
