Candlewood Cellars: Evenus Zinfandel Port 2007

Candlewood Cellars: Evenus Zinfandel Port 2007

Complex and fruity, this offering from Candlewood Cellars is a good find that you can enjoy today, or 20 years from now!

This dessert wine delivered luscious, rich aromas of prune, sugarcane and molasses. The palate was prune, molasses, an anise-like-spice, concord grape, cardamom, orange rind and strawberry. Yes, there's lots going on! This full-bodied wine delivers all these amazing fruit and spice flavors with an incredibly smooth flow. For only being a 3 year old, this is super smooth. I want to store a bottle or two for 10 years and experience this gem again. Cheers!
