Caretaker Wines: Pinot Noir 2008

Caretaker Wines: Pinot Noir 2008

This wine is about personality: the character and nuances of a vineyard that can only be expressed by a true caretaker.

The nose was soft of cherry and spice. The palate was cherry, raspberry and a spice note like dry apricots. This is a light-bodied Pinot that is best described as a finesse wine, very delicate to all the senses. The finish was my favorite element of this wine. It was cherry, slight oak and molasses. Delicious! Cheers!
