Parkers Estate: Zinfandel 2007

Parkers Estate: Zinfandel 2007

Parkers Estate Zinfandel was sourced from select vineyards in northern Sonoma County. The wine was aged for nine months in French and American oak barrels and then bottled in the spring of 2009.

The nose was quite floral of hibiscus, with smokey burnt wood and cherry. The palate was cherry, raspberry, leather, smokey wood, tangerine spice and chocolate. This is a big wine with plenty of acidity, fruit flavors and tannins. The finish was of chocolate and raspberry. Delicious! Cheers!
