Husch Vineyards: Chardonnay 2008

Husch Vineyards: Chardonnay 2008

The grapes for this selection were picked at a near ideal range of ripeness. As a result, the blend is very well balanced with a great deal of complexity. The fruit forward wine is barrel fermented (French, Hungarian and American oak) for 8 months.

The nose was a light, yet satisfying mix of green apple and oak. The palate was of guava, pineapple, lemon, nectarine and oak. This is a refreshing light-bodied wine that finished medium, with lemon, oak. Cheers!
