La Granja 360: Tempranillo 2008

La Granja 360: Tempranillo 2008

This Tempranillo is a good basic table wine. It doesn't have much in the palate of a "normal" Tempranillo, but the flavors are good, which makes it an interesting find for those looking for something a little different.

The nose was cherry and raspberry. The palate was of cherry, raspberry, licorice, earthy cardamom, and a slight eucalyptus. The cherry and raspberry are typical of a Tempranillo, but the other notes are unique, and a nice contrast to the sweet red fruit main flavors. Overall this selection is dry with light tannins. The finish was light to medium of cherry. For the price, this is a worthy everyday table wine. Cheers!
