Bogle Vineyards: Cabernet Sauvignon 2007

Bogle Vineyards: Cabernet Sauvignon 2007

This Cabernet Sauvignon is barreled for fourteen months. The result is a wine with touches of melted caramel and white pepper with strong tannins and a rich and round finish.

The nose was of black cherry, raspberry, fennel and oak. The palate was of cherry, raspberry, pepper spice and smoky oak. This is smooth wine has good structure with strong tannins that keep pace with the vibrant flavors. The finish was warm with mocha and oak. As the bottle opened, the nose moved to cherry, raspberry and a very pleasant musty oak. The palate was of cherry, raspberry, currant, pepper and oak. Cheers!

How could you possibly go wrong with portobello mushrooms, pesto, and mozarella cheese?  Very rich and flavorful.
