Five Gold Hands created this Zinfandel using traditional techniques of wine making which allow soil and fruit to be in their most natural state for excellent flavors and balance in their wines.
The nose was berry, cherry and eucalyptus-spice. The palate was blueberry, cherry, spice, black pepper and burnt oak. This wine is big, hand fulls of flavor and acid. The finish was long, with tangerine and oak notes. As the bottle opened and changed a bit, the palate focused to current, blueberry, cherry, spice, oak, and pepper. Overall, this is a great wine at a very reasonable price.Cheers!
