Robert Hall: Syrah 2006

Robert Hall: Syrah 2006

Robert Hall's Syrah brings together all the elements of color and flavor which are essential to the Paso Robles experience: intense dark ruby reds with sweet aromas.

The nose was rich grape, eucalyptus, maple syrup and blueberry. What a start! The palate was intense blackberry and blueberry. The finish was long and dry with strong tannins for a real pucker. The palate on finish was a delicious blackberry with a mineral - chalk hint which nicely balanced all the sweetness going on. Once the bottle opened the nose was fairly unchanged, but the palate goes towards blackberry, blueberry and a spice note. Cheers!
