Bogle Vineyards: Petite Sirah 2006

Bogle Vineyards: Petite Sirah 2006

This Bogle Vineyards Petite Sirah has the elements of a typical Sirah with some pleasant extra flavors that lend to a wonderful tasting experience. Layers of flavor will greet your palate with an overall jammy dark fruit experience.

The nose was of cedar, musty earth, chocolate and jammy blackberry. The palate starts out with rich blackberry flavors. Then moves into other dark fruit nuances with a distinctive smokey cedar touch. These layers of flavor work together to create a rich tasting experience, yet are distinctive enough to discern from one another. These strong flavors are paired with stout tannins to balance the wine well. The finish is long, smooth with blackberry, plum and prune palate. Cheers!
