Chateau Ste. Michelle: Columbia Valley Chardonnay 2007

Chateau Ste. Michelle: Columbia Valley Chardonnay 2007

Chateau Ste. Michelles' affordable Chardonnay is a treat, well suited for food pairing. This wine doesn't try to do too much, and so makes a refreshing wine that is able to be paired with many foods. This is a semi-dry Chardonnay with smooth and subtle characteristics.

The nose to my sense of smell came with lemon, eucalyptus, grass and subtle apple. The first sips bring a fresh palate of apple, lemon with subtle oak finish. As it opens up the nose is soft and refreshing, and a great element of the palate tasted like sweet McIntosh apples. Cheers!
