They planted 3 acres of wine grapes and a few years later designed and built a modern, Mediterranean style facility, which reflects the winery’s mission statement of offering “A Taste of the Old World in Galveston County ”. The winery consists of over 11,000 square feet, including an 1800 sq. ft. cellar, which is used for storing aging wines in Oak Barrels. The winery is a destination winery and has grown into a major tourist attraction in Santa Fe , Texas and Galveston County .
