Chatom Vineyards is nestled in the breathtaking Esmeralda Valley of the Sierra Foothills in Calaveras County. The Esmeralda Valley’s warm days and cool evenings create the perfect climate for cultivating premium selections planted in the vineyard.


The vineyard boasts 13 varietals planted on 65 acres, including Chardonnay, Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Zinfandel, Syrah, Sangiovese and 5 Portuguese varietals.

Fragrance of fresh pears and peaches with spicy floral undertones. Viscous mouth feel with creamy textures, honey and nutmeg. Nectarines lead you to the well-balanced estate fruit and elegant finish. This Chardonnay is excellent paired with salads, caramel and fresh fruit or just for a picnic on a hot, summer day. Made from 100% estate fruit, stainless steel fermented aged, alcohol - 14.5%.

A unique nose of ripe cherries, mint eucalyptus, spice and blackberries. Sweet flavors of black fruit, bing cherries and licorice are completed by ripe fruit and spice. Made from 5 estate grown Portuguese varietals: Tinto Cao, Souzao, Alvarelhao, Touriga Nacional, and Tinta Barroca. Wine Character: sweet but not syrupy.

A nose of spicy red fruit, vanilla and white chocolate followed by baked black fruit, rum raisins and hints of coffee finished by soft, lingering oak. A big, bold, sexy blend of Merlot, Sangiovese, Zinfandel, Syrah and Touriga Nacional. Made from 100% estate fruit , Alcohol - 14.6%. An excellent table red that will compliment anything you choose to pair it with.
